A few days ago, our visiting team (brigade) was in the city of Gorodenka, Gorodenkovsky district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, where we installed several street-lamps on solar batteries.
Lanterns were installed in the park zone, where no electricity was provided. Logical and the only right decision was to install solar lights. An interesting fact is that the installation for the purpose of the experiment was carried out in a slightly shaded area (trees) and at an altitude exceeding 30% of the nominal. And here our lanterns have shown themselves from the best side – the sensor works properly in the desired range of distance to the lantern, it goes from economy mode to nominal. The area of illumination has become more due to the installation height of the lantern with practically no loss in the quality of lighting, that is, lanterns of this type have a substantial reserve of basic parameters. The battery charge is regularly enough for the dark time of the day.
The city’s Stepan Lubomirovich Yavorsky expressed gratitude on behalf of Gorodenka residents in his interview, and also hope for further cooperation. “Progress for innovative technologies” – in particular, the city head said, “Once people also barely perceived the transition from a steam engine to an internal combustion engine …”
